West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is  looking for the return of  former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan back to the Premier League with  £100,000 a week loan deal.  Daily Mirror.

According to The Sun, Hammers boss Sam Allardyce wants the Ghanaian, 28, on a six month loan from United Arab Emirates club Al Ain.

Asamoah Gyan spent just over a year at the Stadium of Light, scoring 11 goals in 37 appearances for the Black Cats and has been a big hit with Al-Ain, netting 70 goals in 61 appearances.

West Ham sit just above the drop zone and are in desperate needs of a cutting edge up front having scored just 14 goals in 17 Premier League fixtures.

West Ham currently lie 17th in the Premier League.
