Group B: Spain, Holland, Chile, Australia
Group C: Colombia, Greece, Ivory Coast, Japan
Group D: Uruguay, Costa Rica, England, Italy
Group E: Switzerland, Ecuador, France, Honduras
Group F: Argentina, Bosnia, Iran, Nigeria
Group G: Germany, Portugal, Ghana, USA
Group H: Belgium, Algeria, Russia, South Korea

Mexico, fortunate qualifiers, are paired with Brazil and Cameroon

Ivory Coast – given such hard draws in previous times – are drawn with the darkest of dark horses Colombia. Argentina are given Nigeria as company, just as they were in 1994 and 2002, while Germany are paired with Ghana – again, a repeat of World Cup 2010. Algeria conclude Pot 2 and are paired with Belgium in Group H.

Brazil are joined by Cameroon, just as they were in 1994, while Ecuador begin what could be a very poor group after joining Switzerland.

Chile join Group B with Spain – just like they did in World Cup 2010. They are allocated B3.

Uruguay are the first seeds to be paired…and they have Italy.

• Group A: Brazil
• Group B: Spain
